The Wright Institute Clinic, Berkeley, 2020 - present

Adjunct Faculty Collaborative Clinical Supervisor at the Wright Institute Clinic providing clinical supervision and consultation to psychology students in the PsyD program. The clinic serves a diverse and underserved population in the community and aims to provide humane and socially just psychological services.

Richmond Area Multi-Services (RAMS), San Francisco, 2018-2020

Part-time staff clinician at the Child, Youth and Family Outpatient Program. Dr Lee Pichardo provided individual therapy to children and adolescents, as well as family therapy and parenting consultation. She developed expertise in working with adolescent girls who struggle with managing their stress and intense emotions, as well as their body image and self-esteem while establishing their individuality and identity. Her unique multicultural identities and language capacities have been incredible assets when serving predominantly immigrant and multicultural families at the clinic.

Access Institute for Psychological Services, San Francisco, 2014 - 2016

Pre-doctoral intern. Dr Lee Pichardo received intensive psychoanalytic training and clinical supervision. During her internship training, she worked at Bayview Hunters Point Adult Day Health Center providing individual and group therapy to older adults who suffered from loss, grief, trauma, and psychosis. At the Access Institute community clinic,  she provided weekly and twice a week psychotherapy to individuals and couples who struggle with depression, anxiety, and other characterological and personality disorders.

Richmond Area Multi-Services (RAMS), San Francisco, 2012-2014

Psychological and assessment trainee. Dr Lee Pichardo worked with predominantly Asian American immigrant children, adults, and families. She provided culturally sensitive services that included long-term psychotherapy, parenting consultation, case management, and collaborative psychological assessment to monolingual Chinese immigrants.


Dr Lee Pichardo began her clinical training in 2010 providing counseling and psychotherapy to diverse populations at high schools, various community mental health clinics, and private practice settings. Prior to graduate school, Dr. Lee Pichardo served the Chinese immigrant community in San Francisco as an Elder Abuse Case Manager at Self-help for the Elderly. She also worked as a Behavioral Specialist with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
